The Introspective Visual Journeys Of Petite Noir’s Project 'La Maison Noir'
La Maison Noir: The Gift and the Curse is a mini visual album by Petite Noir. The film is a journey that metaphorises the life of Yannick Ilunga, through a double symbology. On the one hand the Cosmogram, a spiritual symbol of the Democratic Republic of the Congo that represents the life cycle with birth, life, death and rebirth. On the other hand, the four natural elements: earth, air, water and fire.
The filming of the four songs was done in outdoor locations in Namibia. With a careful choice of the costumes and a choreographic composition that, together with the music, manage to tell the development of the vidal creator of the Noirwave cultural movement.
