5 New Releases You Can't Miss This Week

Cautious Clay - Honest Enough

Cautious Clay ended 2018 on an ultimate high, from landing on the Insecure Season 3 soundtrack to teaming up with Hudson Mohawke and Tobias Jesso Jr. on track ‘Reasons’. Now our favourite Brooklyn-based artist is set for a huge next 12 months as he drops the second single from his forthcoming EP in the form of ‘Honest Enough’.  The Medasin-produced track finds the R&B singer reflecting on a relationship that is in a questionable state. "Catchin' every breath, I'm out of practice/Somethin' bout the, motives of the people you come after," he sings "Runnin' through reasons that you thought/Money wouldn't stop me I don't want to be here too/You've never been up out here to excite/If you wanna trip I'll keep you."

Foals - Exits

Foals have steadily become one of the UK’s most loved bands since they arrived on the scene back in back in 2008 with their debut album ‘Antidotes’. Their latest comeback single ‘Exits’ ties their whole career together wonderfully and is a wonderful preview of the first part of upcoming double album ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’. “They’re two halves of the same locket,” Yannis Philippakis says of the new records. “They can be listened to and appreciated individually, but fundamentally, they are companion pieces.” With nineteen more tracks and a huge tour to come, Foals promise to make 2019 a year of great returns.

Junge Junge - Wicked Hearts

Junge Junge is an act that are firmly set for commercial radio success. The creators of viral singles like 'Run Run Run,' 'Beautiful Girl' and 'I Don’t Love You' are back with their first release of the year, “Wicked Hearts.” Known for their collaborative productions with other artists, this time around the German duo has worked with Jamie Hartman. This release opens with a distinctive whistle that draws you in, softly flickering vocals move over its guitar-edged melody and lightly padding beat. It’s a track that combines just the right amount of pop against that lusted after dance chorus.

RITUAL ft Tove Styrke - Love Me Back

RITUAL and Tove Styrke team up on huge pop stomper 'Love Me Back'. The track will undoubtedly be a certified banger having been co-written with the Grammy-nominated Emily Warren (she co-wrote Dua Lipa's "New Rules"). 'Love Me Bac' is the first offering from RITUAL’s upcoming Dreamers Never Learn project, one that will find the band connecting with numerous female artists for a batch of pointed 21st century love songs. And as if the song isn’t already captivating enough, the music video is enthralling in a cinematic sense and brings us right in the middle of the story.
