Alan Walker Publishes His Debut Album 'Different World'

Alan Walker, one of the most famous DJs and producers in the world and with multiple streams, having exceeded the total 14 billion, publishes his debut album, Different World. The success of Alan exploded when Faded was used as the soundtrack of the X Games in Oslo in 2016, since then has exceeded 14 billion streams worldwide and Faded became the seventh most watched video on YouTube with more than 5.8 billion views. Walker has already participated as a headliner at more than 500 festivals including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival and Lollapalooza, as well as having opened concerts by artists such as Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Kygo.

The album Different World was anticipated by the single Diamond Heart feat. Sophia Somajo. The official music video, directed by Kristian Berg, features the story of the "Walkers" of the future that collect time capsules containing technologies never seen before, such as drones that scan data architecture, in order to reconstruct a new earth. As regards the single, Alan Walker stated:

"Diamond Heart is a special track for me because I started working on it a few years ago. Since then it has always been one of my favorite singles, and I even played it premiered at Tomorrowland last year. It's great to be able to finally publish it! Sophia has done a fantastic job, her vocals and lyrics are incredible! I know that many of my fans have been requesting this song for a while, so I'm excited to see their reaction to both the song and the video!"

Along with the album, Alan Walker launches an important campaign to raise awareness on the theme of climate change: #CreateADifferentWorld, a topic that is particularly close to his heart and that often returns in his music and videos. Walker firmly believes in the idea that every simple individual action can create a significant change at the collective level and that together we can "create a different world".
