Zayn Debuts An Impressive Video For 'Satisfaction'

On January 9, Zayn debuted an impressive video for Satisfaction, one of the tracks from his 2018 album Icarus Falls. The video, directed by Bouha Kazm, explores the tragedy of losing a beloved person and the pain it follows. Zayn is appearing only in a few scenes during the four-minute video, leaving space to the thrilling story of the protagonist of the clip. The clip opens with a meaningful quote from the singer’s 2016 track, Intermission: Flower. It says: “Until the flower of this love has blossomed, this heart won’t be at peace.”

Malik left One Direction in 2015 and signed a solo contract with RCA Records. Icarus Falls is the second album in his solo career. It's an elaborated 27-track project that goes through different genres such as pop, EDM, ballad and R&B. It has been 3 years since the solo album Mind of Mine, and the artist has matured and is now more organised in the way he registers and composes music, as he said in a recent interview. Speaking of Icarus Falls, Zayn said: “It’s a bit different to my last record in terms of it’s matured, [I’ve] got a bit older. I didn’t know what was going on for a while. I was just putting out a record and not really being as prominent as I wanted to be.”
