LG CLOi SuitBot Supports The Lower Body To Reduce Stress
Project Name: CLOi SuitBot
Description: An updated version of CLOi SuitBot will be launched by LG Electronics (LG) this year at CES. The innovative exoskeleton will help its users reducing the stress while lifting heavy weights. The LG device has integrated AI technology to ensure a better assistance to its wearer. After being firstly disclosed in Berlin, the updated version supports the lower body and expands the client's own muscle capacity to diminish the danger of damage and weakness when performing physically activities, like lifting and bringing down overwhelming burdens. CLOi SuitBot augments the client's adaptability by empowering 50-degree extension and 90-degree flexion of the waist and enacts when the wearer twists at a 65-degree edge, releasing when remaining in an upstanding position. The wearable robot works for four hours on a charge and power up again in only 60 minutes. “The progress made by our entire robot lineup points to our commitment to deliver a robotic solution for the real world in the very near future,” said senior vice president Roh Jin-seo.
